Our Vision

UWKKO International (United World Kyokushin Karate Organization) was established in 2017 by Sosai A.K. Ismail with the vision of preserving and promoting the true spirit of Kyokushin Karate. Our Honbu Dojo is led by Vice President Hanchi Moegsien Ismail, continuing a proud lineage rooted in the teachings of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate. As a 3rd-generation Kyokushin practitioner, Hanchi Moegsien Ismail upholds the principles of discipline, respect, and continuous self-improvement. UWKKO International serves as a platform for martial artists across South Africa and beyond to train, compete, and grow within a structured and authentic Kyokushin system. We are more than a karate organization — we are a community committed to building strong individuals and future leaders.
